You play a big part in the success of your surgery and rehabilitation. Patients who come to surgery in their best physical condition tend to have an easier time with recuperation. It's also important that you're prepared for your temporary limitations once you return home from the hospital.

We offer both a program and downloadable information to help you prepare.

Pre-operative Program

The EvergreenHealth Neuroscience, Spine & Orthopedic Institute partners with EvergreenHealth Medical Center to provide a comprehensive preoperative program for our spine surgery patients.

The program’s goal is to provide the essential information to not only prepare for your surgery but also for successful post-surgical recuperation and rehabilitation.

We encourage you and your caregiver to attend this 90 minute program during the month prior to your surgery. The EvergreenHealth Neuroscience, Spine & Orthopedic Institute will handle your registration.
