How Much will My Treatment Cost?

When you’re considering any kind of medical treatment, cost is a major consideration.

At the EvergreenHealth Neuroscience, Spine & Orthopedic Institute, we embrace transparency because we feel having all of the information is the best way to make decisions about your care.

Please keep in mind that the ultimate “out of pocket” cost to you for healthcare services can be difficult to define, because it can be impacted by many factors, including your health insurance, your unique health condition and needs, your provider and any unexpected care related to your treatment.

If you have commercial health insurance, your insurance company can help you obtain an estimate of what you will pay for a specific procedure.

It can determine out-of-pocket costs in advance of obtaining services, since it knows the specifics of your coverage, plan, deductibles and co-pays.

Some insurers have online tools and estimators, while others will ask you to call and speak to someone.

For your convenience, we’ve compiled links to most of the area’s larger insurance providers’ online resources.

A member of our Patient Financial Services team will provide an estimate* based on your services and your health insurance provider, including the specifics of your coverage plan.

It is helpful to know the CPT code of your procedure (your provider can give this to you). If your procedure is already scheduled, our staff may be able to help get this code for you.

*Please note that these are only estimates and are subject to change without notice – this is true for any location you would have surgery.

The actual cost of your procedure may be higher or lower based on factors specific to your case, such as your length of stay in the hospital and the complexity of your medical condition.
